Windows 98 product key

Forum Software General & Business Software Windows 98 FE Product Key February 23rd, 2005, 11:39 AM #1 Windows 98 FE Product Key I have to restore my computer and cannot find my product key for 98FE. I have the original Restore CD that came with the system and the product key for the Windows 98 SE upgrade but I cannot get passed the registration of the FE when I reboot after the restore CD has been run.Can anyone offer any help with either emailing me a product key for 98FE or showing me how I can extract it from the restore CD?Thanks,JoeEmail link removed to protect against spambots. February 23rd, 2005, 06:27 PM #3 The restore CD for your system should either automatically have entered the product key at the install time, or you're running the restore on a different system from what it originally came with (i.e. the CD came with a Dell but you've since built a new machine.)If this is indeed the computer that came with the restore CD, then perhaps there is a COA sticker on the side of the computer (as is usual for Dell and HP systems.)
