chrome extension; Chrome extension source viewer - Reddit

If you like scrolling through random videos on Reddit, it isn’t uncommon for you may find a video that is worth downloading. Reddit can be a great source of content found nowhere else as it’s usually uploaded by regular users. If you want to forever store a video, then that’s possible.Although there are many ways to download Reddit videos (there is even a Reddit bot for it), if you are on Chrome and want a faster solution, then I know the perfect two methods. In today’s post, I am going to introduce 2 Reddit video downloaders that will help you download Reddit videos on Chrome.1. Use a Chrome extensionUsing a dedicated Chrome extension to download videos on Reddit is probably the easiest and fastest way. However, there aren’t many good Reddit video downloader Chrome extensions that actually work. Thankfully, I have found the Reddit Video Downloader extension that perfectly works on all Reddit player videos. It’s astonishingly easy to use the extension too. The extension will add a “Download” button at the top-left corner of every video in Reddit player. You can click on it to show further options. On the next page, select the video quality and click on the “Download” button at the bottom to download the video.Once downloaded, another button to edit videos will show up too. Here you can cut, resize and change video format.Unfortunately, this extension only allows you to download 5 videos/day for free. The highest available quality of the video is also not available in the free version. For $6.99/month, you can get the paid version that lifts all these limitations.2. Use Reddit video downloader websiteIf you don’t want to download dedicated software, then using a website service might be a better idea. Furthermore, it will also let you download unlimited Reddit videos at maximum quality. RedditSave is the perfect website for this purpose and it’s very easy to use too. Here’s how:Go to the video on Reddit that you want to download and click on the “Share” button below it. A menu will pop up, select “Copy Link” here. Now go to the RedditSave website and paste

Chrome disabling extensions : r/chrome - Reddit

A Former User @leocg last edited by A Former User @leocg Thanks for the reply. I read that, but it doesn't specifically address my issue. As I said before, Linux Mint states in its release notes that Ubuntu telemetry is disabled, with Linux Mint being a spin of Ubuntu. Similarly, Opera is a Chromium spin. That Reddit thread I referenced includes the assertions of a few people who claimed that Chromium phones home to Google every time it is opened and also every now and then to verify if Chrome extensions are current. The IP address is passed along, at a minimum.Opera would have to specifically disable Chromium's phoning home, but the privacy policy does not address that. Opera's privacy policy states: "Some third-party sites may monitor data traffic from our products and services, such as numbers of hits and the search terms used." However, if the IP address is passed to Google, then it can track users. Also, it would seem that if a user installs "Install Chrome Extensions," then regular communication with Google would be conducted. though there is a simple fix for that: don't install it or Chrome extensions.I never use Google search. I use a variety of browsers, including Opera and Firefox, but never Chrome. I never surf while being logged into any website. But Google still remembers my old searches on Youtube even though I never use it while logged in.

Speaking of which, today we’re going to show you how to download and use Reddit Enhancement Suite for Firefox.Reddit Enhancement Suite in Firefox, here’s what you should knowHow can I download Reddit Enhancement Suite?Visit the Reddit Enhancement Suite page.Click on Add to Firefox. Next, click on Add again to confirm. How to use Reddit Enhancement Suite?Reddit Enhancement Suite works with the old version of Reddit, so you’ll need to switch to it before using it.With it, you’ll be able to preview comments before posting them, thus ensuring that everything is properly formatted and linked. There’s even a full-screen text editor if you’re making larger posts. With Reddit Enhancement Suite it’s easier to preview parent comments since there’s a window with parent comments that will appear as soon as you hover over the parent link. The tool also allows you to tag users, so you can tag users who post interesting content, or you can label problematic users. You can even mute certain users so their comments will automatically collapse. This extension can also show all images for posts or comments, and quickly toggle them, or you can show individual ones using the image icon next to embedded images. This feature also works for video, so it can be incredibly useful.Another great feature is the powerful filter that lets you highlight or hide comments based on their score, read status, type of content, post date, and more. You can also use these filters to navigate comments more easily, so you can rest assured that you never miss a comment. These are some of the features that we found useful in Reddit Enhancement Suite, but the extension has a lot more to offer, so if you’re a Reddit user, this is a must-have extension.Do keep in mind that it only works on old Reddit, so you’ll probably have to change your preferences to switch to old Reddit permanently. However, the developers will continue to fix bugs and other issues whenever possible. While this is an amazing extension many reported that Reddit Enhancement Suite is not working, but we have a guide that addresses this issue. It’s not just this extension, sometimes Reddit won’t work in Firefox, and in some instances, Reddit won’t load in Chrome, but we also have articles that address these problems. For more useful extensions, don’t

Different variable, or has a hard-coded min-width that can't be changed in the config file.Strange. #16 This. Vertical tabs are the way. Wtf that looks more complicated than trying to find the initial reply of a reply of a reply in reddit. RiP to reddit btw. #17 If you have enough tabs that you need to scroll through them, then you have too many tabs open :p #18 What the fuck? How many tabs do people keep open? 5-6 max for me lol. You gotta pump those numbers up. #19 I used to love Tabmix Plus on the old firefox which would let me have multiple tab rows. I need to look for alternative extensions cause I'm not a big fan of vertical styles. #20 I used to love Tabmix Plus on the old firefox which would let me have multiple tab rows. I need to look for alternative extensions cause I'm not a big fan of vertical styles. Try Vivaldi, it supports this feature natively plus many more features. It's a great browser. Alvis Saw the truth behind the copied door #22 Ah the classic- How do I do this?- You should not do that because I don't like itvery useful everyone.OP, as far as I know setting the minimum tab width to "0" in about:config is the best you can do. It dramatically increases the number of tabs you need to have before it starts scrolling, but it eventually does it. I'd also love for a way to have it act like Chrome. #23 wouldn't use Firefox anymore without this.It reverts Firefox tabs to the way it used to be. I hate what the default Firefox does (they're functionally not tabs anymore). Not sure if thats what you're looking for exactly OP but it worked for me personally #24

Bilibili_translate_chrome_extensionChrome extension to translate bilibili into EnglishWord from the DeveloperHey all! I decided to create this extension to help those who wanted to use Bilibili but were turned away by the language barrier. This extension will only do basics, and is not complete in any way. That would take a lot more time and effort than what is really required to just watch streams and videos.I'll update it from time to time, but I do feel that I've mostly accomplished my goal of helping the user get around bilibili without too much trouble.Feedback is appreciated, and if you want to help contribute, let me know! How to InstallOpen chrome, open extension menu from Settings or type "chrome://extensions/" to address bar.Turn on "Developer mode"Press "Load unpacked" and select extracted folder. (You have to select whole folder)Press refresh icon (No need, just in case).Turn off "Developer mode".NotesEnglish will be overlayed a couple seconds after opening the pageWhen switching between tabs, if there is no page refresh, that tab will not be translated.
