(had to locate App, as Retroactive didn't automatically find it)Aperture runs ok, with same issues as on Big Sur 11.6.1 - Thumbnail refresh, transparent loupe - note that I don't use RAW files, but import, export and edit functions all ok.Copied iPhoto App from Big Sur HD (drag and drop)Ran Retroactive - iPhoto selected ( again had to locate app)iPhoto runs ok - import, export, edit functions all ok, occasional crashRan Retroactive - iTunes (12.9.5.5) selected - downloaded, installed, runs ok (Store ok, don't sync with it, so can't comment)STEP 2 - internal HD (Fusion drive)Installed Monterey via software update on internal drive, (previously Big Sur 11.6.1 with Aperture, iPhoto and iTunes 12.9.5.5 installed)Aperture, iPhoto and iTunes all running ok, with same issues as on Big Sur 11.6.1 (did not run Retroactive again)I'm happy, and again, as so many others have said, thanks Mr Cormier for your amazing app!!!!

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. I don't know whether it's because I have a new MBP with a new admin password or if its because I recently upgraded to Monterey, but I cannot play many songs in my iTunes library. It asks me to authorize the device; I do and it says it had already been authorized but that it's now been re-authorized. Snd I keep getting the same messages over and over again when I try to play many (but not all) of the songs in my library. I have already tried deauthorizing and then authorizing my MBP but it didn't solve the problem. I've attached screen grabs of the messages I keep getting. MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.1 Posted on Jan 12, 2022 12:07 PM Posted on Jan 12, 2022 4:24 PM So prior to getting my new MBP and upgrading to Monterey I've never had issues or problems playing the tunes that apparently are no longer authorized. That's why it seems unlikely the files are corrupted or incomplete - if they were wouldn't I have had problems with them before? In any case, I'll try what you're suggesting.I'm not sure how to back up though; for some reason since I pay for Cloud storage I just assumed everything was automatically backed up? Also, what does the "activity widget" look like and where do I find it? Thanks! I also upgraded an old MacBook Pro and it was a disaster but I think that system had security software that didn't play well with Big Sur. I'm installing Monterey right now to check it out as I've heard that it's GUI is really nice. I will be on it sooner or later as I plan to buy at least one M1X system this year. #3 I went from Mojave to Big Sur and had performance problems so I went back.
