Although pulling off crimes is the objective, lawbreakers can still expect to be punished — and rewarded — for their bad deeds, all thanks to the event’s Heat Level mechanic. Here’s how to raise your Heat Level in Fortnite and what effects will come from it. How to get a higher Heat Level in the Fortnite Most Wanted event Fortnite’s Heat Level system signifies the impact you have had in matches during the Most Wanted event, and it comes with both benefits and drawbacks. You can raise your Heat Level either by simply eliminating opponents and Cold Blooded Syndicate members or by opening Cold Blooded Vaults set around named locations. However, those with at least one Heat Level will become visible on players’ mini-maps and are more prone to dying to Cold Blooded NPCs. Screenshot by Gamepur Despite this, the benefits earned from Heat Levels certainly make achieving eliminations and unlocking vaults worthwhile. As shown above, there are four Heat Levels you can progress to, and each rewards you with a special ability upon reaching it. This includes faster movement, the power to regenerate health, and even netting additional Gold from enemies. You can find each Heat Level and their given abilities below. Heat Level 1: Grants extra Bars after you eliminate an enemy Heat Level 2: Gives a 15% increase in movement speed and regenerates your health out of combat Heat Level 3: Gives a 20% increase in movement speed and regenerates your health and up to 50 Shield out. Is there going to be a Gustavo Fring Fortnite skin? Officially, there is no such information to back up the claim. The skin would undoubtedly be a welcome addition to the game, but for the time being, all we have are rumors and speculation. Although nothing is certain, the search term "Gustavo Fring Fortnite skin" has been trending on and off for quite some time. While it is strange that this is happening, there is an explanation. Why is the term "Gustavo Fring Fortnite skin" trending on the internet? As far as anyone can tell, the search term is trending as a result of a survey that took place in late August. Gustavo Fring appeared in it, along with several other notable characters and personalities.Although surveys do not determine who or what will collaborate with the game next, they do provide a general idea of what is and is not trending. Jesse Pinkman was recently spotted in a survey. Another catalyst rekindled interest in Gustavo Fring. Aside from surveys, another major driver is content creators who have identified the trend and promoted it through videos. While many explained that it was just a survey, others stated unequivocally that it was a collaboration in the works.Hundreds of users quickly took to Twitter to request a Gustavo Fring Fortnite skin from Epic Games. Although this occurred in late August, the trend has not subsided. Given Giancarlo Esposito's recent popularity, it's no surprise that players want him in the metaverse. After portraying Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Antón Castillo in Far Cry 6 and Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian, he has cemented his legacy in pop culture. That said, having any version of him in-game will suffice. Can fans expect to see a Gustavo Fring Fortnite skin in the future? In all likelihood, yes. Epic Games will most likely be testing the waters with multiple surveys featuring Breaking Bad characters before taking the plunge. Characters such as Gustavo Fring and Jesse Pinkman will be added to the metaverse if multiple surveys show positive results. Having said that, it's odd that Walter White

Tend not to have the same tone and style as the original. Also, these spin-offs tend to lack continuity with the original show, as the creators may not be as knowledgeable about the show on which they are based. With Better Call Saul, however, Gilligan and Gould's involvement saw these issues completely avoided. 8 Better Call Saul Was Both A Prequel & A Sequel To Breaking Bad While spin-offs can be either connected or completely separate from their original show, Better Call Saul acted as both a prequel and sequel to Breaking Bad. This made it wholly original to most spin-offs, which tend to be written as one or the other if not a completely original story set in the same world. The prequel section of Better Call Saul provided amazing context to Breaking Bad, both in terms of character and story. The sequel section, on the other hand, allowed the show to have genuine tension over the character's outcomes, something that most prequel stories lack, making Better Call Saul's story near-perfect in two distinct ways. 7 Breaking Bad Was Retroactively Improved By Better Call Saul Stemming from the dual nature of Better Call Saul as a prequel and a sequel to Breaking Bad, the spin-off retroactively improved the original show. The explorations of Saul, Mike, and Giancarlo Esposito's Gustavo Fring before the events of Breaking Bad provided amazing context to their later stories. Similarly, other elements of Better Call Saul retroactively changed the context of some Breaking Bad scenes. One example of the latter is Saul's throwaway mention of Nacho in Breaking Bad, a character fleshed out in a way many did not expect by Michael Mando in Better Call Saul. That being said, the prequel nature of Better Call Saul meant that new characters introduced to the show not in Breaking Bad - like Lalo Salamanca and Howard Hamlin - lacked tension. This was because they were expected to be killed off thanks to their lack of appearance in Breaking Bad. While their fates were proven right, the small detail of the two characters being buried beneath the meth lab heavily featured in Breaking Bad adds plenty of context to the original scenes in which this plot point was never addressed. This is only one example of how Better Call Saul improved its sequel series, in ways many did not think possible. 6 Better Call Saul's Cast Was As Good As Breaking Bad's (If Not Better) As alluded to earlier, the cast of Better Call Saul matched - if not exceeded - that of Breaking Bad. In some spin-off shows, the cast tends not to live up to the standards set by the original show's ensemble. Some examples of this include Joey, which could not match the standard set by Friends, or How I Met Your Father, which lacks the dynamism of the original group from How I Met Your Mother. With Better Call Saul though, the cast and characters can be argued to be better than Breaking

Kind of Rorschach test for society, a measure of our attitudes toward gender."Even Gunn openly admits there's probably a bit more to the Skyler hate than just basic gender politics. The actress, who netted two Supporting Actress Emmys for her work on Breaking Bad, added in her discussion with EW that the backlash was also part of "the brilliance of the construct of the show." For Gunn, she knew people wanted so badly to see Walt win that they couldn't help but dislike anyone who stood in his way."People did find a hero in Walt, but they wanted so much to connect with him so viscerally that to see the person who often was his antagonist — therefore the show's antagonist in a way — they felt like she was in the way of him doing whatever he wanted to do," she said. The Skyler White hate took a toll on Anna Gunn AMC Intriguing insights aside, it's become clear in the years since Breaking Bad left the airwaves that all the Skyler hate took a serious toll on Gunn's confidence. Per the same EW interview, the actress admitted that it was "very tough" on her. Gunn further shared, "It shook me. As an actor, my job is not to always play characters who make everybody happy. That's not interesting. In fact, characters that are more difficult in a way are more interesting. But when you are on a show that has become that big and people are identifying you so much with somebody that they dislike, you can't help but feel like you get folded into it."It apparently shook Gunn so much that she questioned her own ability, with the actor telling EW, "There were a lot of questions. Am I doing something wrong? Am I not serving the character? Am I not serving the story?" Anna Gunn's Breaking Bad co-stars don't understand the Skyler hate either AMC In the end, Gunn remains positive about the Breaking Bad backlash, telling EW, "It was extremely important for me to go through, and very powerful for me to learn that people

Despite its potential to tarnish a near-flawless show like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul quickly established itself as a perfect TV spin-off. Before Breaking Bad ended its five-year run in July 2013, a spin-off was confirmed to be in development centered on the character of Saul Goodman. According to Better Call Saul's co-creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, the ideas for the story began as early as 2009 when Saul was introduced to Breaking Bad season 2. Due to the immense critical acclaim of Breaking Bad, committing to a spin-off could have been a potentially dangerous idea. Not only did the idea of another story in the universe risk tarnishing the almost-perfect status of the original show, but many shared doubts over whether Bob Odenkirk's Saul Goodman could carry a show in the same vein as Bryan Cranston's Walter White did with Breaking Bad. That being said, all doubts were silenced almost instantaneously upon Better Call Saul's release, with the show proving to be a perfect TV spin-off for a plethora of reasons. 10 Better Call Saul Is Centered On Breaking Bad’s Best Side Characters Firstly, Gilligan and Gould's best choice was to center the spin-off on Breaking Bad's best side characters. While concerns were raised over Odernkirk's ability to have the same draw as Cranston's Heisenberg, there is no denying that what was seen of Saul in Breaking Bad made him one of the show's most interesting supporting players. The same could be said for Jonathan Banks' Mike Ehrmantraut, who quickly became a fan-favorite Breaking Bad character despite his more limited screen time. In choosing to center Better Call Saul around these two characters and their loosely connected yet separate lives, Better Call Saul's two main performances proved to be an inspired choice. Not only did this allow Saul to be explored as Jimmy McGill, but it allowed Mike to be the catalyst for Breaking Bad's elements to slowly permeate Jimmy's old life. This, on top of the exceptional performances both Banks and Odenkirk delivered, proves that one of Better Call Saul's best choices was to focus on two of Breaking Bad's most interesting supporting characters. 9 Breaking Bad’s Creators Also Made Better Call Saul Another of the reasons why Better Call Saul is a perfect TV spin-off is that it was made by the same creators as Breaking Bad. Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad, teamed up with one of that show's more prominent writers Peter Gould to co-create Better Call Saul. Gould was also responsible for writing Breaking Bad season 2, episode 8 - aptly titled "Better Call Saul" - which introduced the character of Goodman to the universe. Given that both Gilligan and Gould were so in tune with the Breaking Bad universe, Better Call Saul was improved as a result. Usually, TV spin-offs are made years after the original show, with new creators at the helm. While this can sometimes work with the likes of House of the Dragon as an example, oftentimes they. Throughout Breaking Bad's run, the beloved AMC series introduced all manner of drug dealers, murderers, and generally Bad Dudes while sending its protagonist, Walter White (Bryan Cranston), down a darker and darker path himself. But, at the time, few characters got more hate than Walter's own wife, Skyler.History, however, is proving to be a little kinder to Skyler. Anna Gunn, the actress who played Skyler White from 2008 through 2013, says as much in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter to promote her new Apple TV+ series Sugar. In it, she looks back at the hate she received at the time - which, she notes, was mostly confined to the internet - as well as how attitudes have changed over the past decade."It did become alarming when it turned violent," she remembers. "Sometimes, the comments could turn threatening or violent, and that concerned me. So I just didn’t want to feel bullied by all that, and I felt that it was my responsibility to stand up and answer to it, which is what I did."Gunn's referring to an op-ed she wrote for The New York Times as Breaking Bad was finishing its run titled "I Have a Character Issue." In the op-ed, she wrote about the fan forums and Facebook pages dedicated to hating her character, writing that she "was unprepared for the vitriolic response (Skyler) inspired."Skyler White was so hated at the time of Breaking Bad airing that Anna Gunn wrote a New York Times op-ed about it. (Image credit: AMC)"So I really just had to go through that ring of fire, for lack of a better phrase, to understand that a lot of it was, frankly, misogynistic," she says in the THR interview."And now, when people come up to me, it’s incredibly different because of all the seismic changes that have happened," she continues. "There’s still a long way to go, but we really have made seismic changes since then. So people come up to me now and say, 'You were the linchpin for me. You were the conscience of the show. You were what pulled me into the show.' Or they say, 'The first time I watched it, I hated that character. But the second time I watched it, I realized, ‘Oh my God, that poor woman.’ "The hate toward both Skyler and Gunn is something even Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has slammed in retrospect, telling the New Yorker in a 2022 interview: "I can tell you it always troubled me, because Skyler, the character, did nothing to deserve that. And Anna certainly did nothing to deserve that. She played the part beautifully.”"People come up to me now and say, 'You were the linchpin for

White visited his wife one final time. Handing over a lottery ticket bearing the coordinates of Hank Schrader's buried corpse, Walt instructed Skyler to phone the DEA, hand over the ticket, and strike a bargain to avoid prosecution. During her phone call to Gene in Better Call Saul season 6, Francesca reveals, "Skyler White got her deal," confirming Walt's last marital request was followed through. Breaking Bad viewers will be delighted to learn Skyler walked away a free woman. Jesse Pinkman's Car Was Found After El Camino In El Camino, Jesse Pinkman escaped from Jack's Nazi compound and reunited with pals Skinny Pete and Badger, who did him a major solid by fooling the DEA. Skinny Pete drove Jesse's El Camino, which the cops were already onto, and told them he and Jesse traded automobiles. Badger then took Skinny Pete's T-bird 200 down near the border to give the impression Jesse fled to Mexico. Meanwhile, Jesse jumped into Badger's car and eventually hired the Disappearer. According to Francesca's phone call in Better Call Saul season 6, the illusion worked perfectly. The DEA believes Jesse drove Skinny Pete's T-bird down to Mexico and ran from there, whereas El Camino ended with Aaron Paul's character far, far away in Alaska. Better Call Saul's Shell Company Easter Eggs After hearing how the heat from Breaking Bad rests squarely upon him, Gene begins questioning Francesca about their secret accounts. Naturally, these were all organized through shell companies, and Saul Goodman's portfolio of financial hiding places reads like a shopping list of Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad Easter eggs. The nail salons refer to Jimmy McGill's very first office, and the vending machines could be a nod to Wendy. The laser tag business Gene mentions is Breaking Bad's Lazer Base, and Tigerfish Corporation is named after the USS Tigerfish from Ice Station Zebra - Kim's favorite movie, and the namesake of another fake shell company Saul used throughout Breaking Bad. Huell & Kuby's Fates After Breaking Bad One of Breaking Bad's most popular ending theories has finally been debunked! Huell Babineaux did not wait forever in a safe house! Saul Goodman's infamously light-fingered assistant ended his Breaking Bad story in DEA custody, but after Hank and Gomez never returned, audiences wondered what became of Mr. Babineaux twiddling his thumbs locked in a safe house. Mercifully, Francesca reveals Huell was released due to being held. Breaking Bad is a critically acclaimed American television series originally aired from 2025 to 2025. Bad's. While every cast member of Breaking Bad is phenomenal in their performance, it is often Bryan Cranston and Giancarlo Esposito that tend to be singled out as the show's best performers. In the case of Better Call Saul though, the show has a much more varied cast of characters that receive their share of the spotlight. From Odenkirk as the titular character and Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler to Michael McKean and Jonathan Banks as Chuck McGill and Mike respectively, Better Call Saul's central cast provide Emmy-worthy performances across the board. This is without mention of Michael Mando, Giancarlo Esposito, Tony Dalton, and Patrick Fabian who are consistently as brilliant. 5 Better Call Saul Didn’t Simply Replicate Breaking Bad’s Success Another reason as to why Better Call Saul is a perfect TV spin-off is that it did not simply attempt to replicate Breaking Bad's success. While it would have been easy to tell a story with different characters in the same crime-drama vein, Better Call Saul included many elements that differentiated itself from its counterpart. The core aspect in question is the show's focus as a legal drama. Due to Jimmy McGill and his supporting characters, Better Call Saul leans heavily into the legal aspects of the show's story, only later introducing the crime-drama elements linking it to Breaking Bad and differentiating itself as a result. 4 Better Call Saul Reverses The Concept Of Breaking Bad One of the other ways Better Call Saul manages to separate itself from Breaking Bad is by reversing the core concept of the latter. Breaking Bad was aptly titled in that it focused on Walter White's transition from a placid chemistry teacher to a hardened, somewhat evil, egocentric drug kingpin. In contrast, Better Call Saul does the opposite. While the show does focus on Jimmy's transition into Saul Goodman, it ends with Saul once again becoming Jimmy. The central character reverts to his original self, with the show instead telling a story of consequences, acceptance, and redemption as opposed to Walter White's dark opposite. 3 Better Call Saul's Breaking Bad Cameos Weren't Just Nostalgic Gimmicks In any spin-off, the urge to include cameos and guest appearances from stars of the original show will always be present. With Better Call Saul, this urge is used sparingly, resulting in the cameos from Breaking Bad being more than simple nostalgia gimmicks. Gustavo Fring and the Salamanca's, for example, were used perfectly, as it makes sense given theirs and Saul's connections in Breaking Bad for them to have a history. Other guest appearances like Dean Norris and Betsy Brandt as Hank and Marie Schrader respectively were also perfectly utilized for the story and did not outstay their welcome for the sake of fan service. The biggest cameos in Better Call Saul though were those of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman respectively. While the two main stars of Breaking Bad appearing in Better Call Saul carried the most risk of being a

While this can sometimes work with the likes of House of the Dragon as an example, oftentimes they
