Apex Legends is a free battle royale game released by Respawn. The game features fast paced action where players try to be the last team standings while eliminating their opponents. After deploying into the open world players will try and find gear, and weapons. In total their are currently 19 weapons broken down into 6 different weapon types. Those six weapon types are snipers, light machine guns, pistols, sub machine guns, assault rifles and shotguns. Each weapon has different range, fire rate and damage but they all have the same objective and that is to help you eliminate your opponents.Another part of each weapon is the head shot multiplier. A head shot multiplayer takes the weapons base damage, and multiplies it when you get a head shot. Most, not all, of the weapons in Apex Legends have a 2X head shot multiplier. Of battle, but racking up a few during a match will net you some weapon XP. Although it does not seem like much, combined with damage and kills they will result in some significant weapon XP. And leveling up snipers and marksmen weapons can be a grind, but getting headshots will speed up the process. Placement While playing Battle Royale mode, you will earn weapon XP for your placement in the match. The placement weapon XP is divided between the most used weapons during the match, so if you stick to the same loadout and survive longer, you will earn more weapon XP for those weapons. Ultimately, if you are trying to level up one weapon, a good strategy is to find it quickly during Battle Royale matches, have it out for as long as possible, do damage, and get kills, with hopefully a few headshots as well. Once you level up enough, you will be given a trial for that weapon, which must be completed in order to advance more levels. Each weapon can be leveled up to 100, requiring a total of 1,000,000 weapon XP to reach. Along with XP, every 20 levels you will unlock a trial to progress further, meaning you'll complete special challenges with that weapon. 1,000,000 XP and five trials is a lot to complete for one weapon, but there are ways to quickly level up weapons in Apex Legends. Weapon XP can be earned in every game mode, including Battle Royale, Arenas, and Mixtape Mode. Weapon XP is earned by holding a weapon, doing damage, getting kills, hitting headshots, and match placement. However, some actions grant more XP than others, so it is important to know what earns XP more quickly if you want to level up fast. Here are the best ways to earn XP fast in each category. You generate XP for every second you hold a weapon, but weapons stowed away do not generate XP. The easiest way to earn XP for holding a weapon is by playing Battle Royale and holding the same weapon throughout the match. While holding your weapon out will generate large amounts of weapon XP, it will also make you significantly slower than with your weapons stowed. Getting Kills with a Weapon Getting kills with a weapon is another way to get weapon XP, although it does not generate as much as just holding a weapon unless you are getting substantial amounts of kills in a match. Getting kills only means getting the last shot that finishes an enemy. However, doing damage to an enemy also generates XP, so you can rack up some weapon XP by doing damage and getting the kill. Doing Damage Doing damage also generates XP, but some players may notice it does not generate as much as kills and just holding the weapon. You can generate more weapon XP in the damage category by doing damage while sliding, ziplining, or jumping, so adding a little movement to your shots can boost your weapon XP a bit more.
