Adobe Acrobat crashes may occur for various reasons, such as outdated software, insufficient system resources, configuration issues, and conflicting settings. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to identify and fix Acrobat crashes effectively. Report crashes to help us fix issues In case Acrobat or Acrobat Reader crashes and a crash report dialog box is displayed, select Send report to share the crash information with Adobe. Acrobat crash repot dialog allows you send crash log report by selecting the Send report option. Update Acrobat to the latest version Out-of-date versions of Adobe Acrobat can cause crashes due to incompatibility with updated features or system requirements. To update Acrobat:On Windows, go to Menu > Help > Check for updates, and follow the prompts to install the latest version.On MacOS, go to Help > Check for updates, and follow the prompts to install the latest version. Update your OS Using an outdated Windows or macOS version may cause Adobe Acrobat to crash. To resolve this, Adobe recommends that you update your operating system to the latest version.For update instructions, refer to the Windows update guide or macOS update guide.
