(See image 1 and 2 below). How can the same scale as seen in the profile layout of Civil 3D file be maintained in the AutoCAD export as well. Also, while using the eTransmit option the layout sems fine but the annotation in the model is not maintained as per scale. What could be the reasons for this error? Audit your drawing. You can recreate one viewport to test with. I will usually do this by right clicking on a layout tab, and use the 'from template' option. This will allow you to import a layout from another drawing (or the same drawing), but I see much fewer issues with corrupt viewports this way.
